OPCruise

My name is Alessandro Canicchi, and I am the person behind all this.

I'll tell you a little about how it all started, because it really all started by chance, out of passion I would say.

I work for MSC, and I have always been passionate about card games. I have always been in the card games field, partly for passion and partly, as much as I could, also for work.

I tried to create an event for the community, seeing how difficult it is for us poor players to be able to sign up for important events, we are penalized by the fact that we are so many, and the places are always much fewer than we would like.

Together with some friends, we created the website, we contacted MSC, Gametrade, we did inspections, meetings with MSC, really, really, really hard work...

We thought about giving players all the services they might need, a fabulous prize grid (I really believe it), more options for choosing a cabin, a tournament in a stunning location, I think that for many of those who participate it will be their first cruise.

And it would like to be the first of a long series, if you'll allow me.

We asked for feedback from friends and enthusiasts like us to try to improve as much as possible and give participants an experience that they will want to repeat every year at all costs.

 

This “who I am” has this purpose:

Make you understand that behind all this there is a group of enthusiasts, who want to create something beautiful for the Italian community, and for my sixteen year old son who will come to play on the cruise with you.

We are trying to make people understand that it is all true, that there are players like you behind this project.

 

As anticipated last year we are on the threshold of the second event, which will certainly be a better replica of the first event!!!
